There is a new internet marketing product released every day it seems. It is tough to figure out which ones provide quality content and which ones are wastes of your time. However, every once in a while one comes out that gets my attention.

Most of the time the recipient just deletes it, but many people will read through some of the copy and if piques their interest they will take the initiative to do a little bit of research on their own to see what is being said about the product. They will usually go to Google and type in the product name as a start.

This is where the opportunity for the new affiliate marketer exists. The tactic is to create a simple blog/review site that will rank in the search engines and compel people interested in finding out more about the product to buy through their link.

Only a nominal investment is required to purchase a domain at about $7.50 a year and then to set up some hosting for the site which is about $65/year. The most efficient way to get a quality website up is to use a blogging platform like Wordpress.

In order to use this strategy you will need to create a review site that includes keyword targeted reviews of the product you wish to promote. After that you will implement web 2.0 techniques to get your site at the top of the search engine rankings in Google. Then people who are getting ready to buy will search for the product and see your site and then buy through your link.

  • purchase
  • buy
  • review

There are various methods to get quality backlinks to your site:
